Abstract

Nowadays the restoration of the endodontically treated teeth remains to be a challenge for the restorative dentistry. The development of adhesive techniques has allowed the evolution towards more conservative treatments such as indirect adhesive restorations. This article describes a case of an old restoration of silver amalgam that invaded the biologic width in a left maxillary first molar that was replaced by a composite endocrown and previously performed a surgical crown lengthening.
