Abstract

Treatment of horizontal fractures is always a challenging procedure for the restorative dentist. It´s important to study the localization of the fracture to establish the best treatment plan. This case, it´s a patient of middle age referred to our clinic because of pain at 11 and 21 teeth. After the study with CBCT, we observed that tooth 11 presents a subcrestal crown-root fracture with pulp involvement. For that reason, we decided to put an immediate implant in 11 and to make an endodontic retreatment in 21.
