Abstract
This work focuses on workplace video surveillance and its implications from the viewpoint of the right to privacy. The article analyses the main legal materials, particularly legislation and case law, and the most relevant doctrine. We have seen that labor courts apply the principle of proportionality in order to determine the legality of the use of video surveillance in workplace.
