Abstract
Sialadenoma papilliferum is an exophytic papillary proliferation that involves mucosa! sutface or epidermis and salivary duct epithelium. It is unique among saliva1y gland neoplasms because it manifests asan exophytic papil/ary excrescence of the mucosa. Clinical dijferential diagnosis must be stablished with other papillomatous oral lesions. Its tendence to recidive is very scarce. We reporta new case of sialadenoma papilliferu, located in hard palate of a 85 years old woman.. A surgical excision. was performed and so far, cifter a J 6-monthfollowin.g recurrence has not happened.
