Zusammenfassung
Trioza erytreae represents a threat to the Spanish citrus industry since it was detected in Galicia and Northern Portugal (Iberian Peninsula). This paper summarizes the morphology of the insect, provides the results of a study on its phenology in Pontevedra and refers its current distribution and species affected in Galicia, including Murraya paniculata and Choysia ternata. Finally, strategies of management and control that are carrying out in our region are discussed.
