Abstract
The influence of Sarmental's Portal of Burgos cathedral, and the reflection of Frech models that can be recognized on a anonimous gothic urn in the Museo Arqueológico Nacional (no 50233) allowded us to adscribe them to a workmanship that ca. 1240 introduces in Leon-Castille the "pseudo-gisant» and enriches funerary programs with subjects inspired on classical gothic French Portals. The scenes carved on the tomb in the M.A.N. conforms a sacramental program, that touches upon the efficacity of suffrages. Some iconographical particularities let supose its original destiny in a female cistercian monastery, and to propose Garcia Fernández de Villamayor (t 1240) as possible destinatary.
