Abstract

The interest in reconciling academic and social spaces serve as seed for elaborate this article. The concern arises decades ago by concern about the pervasiveness of technology and interest in properly included in the training context. Learning in the knowledge society is a long learning process. It is one of the more important given that extends throughout life objectives. The continuing emergence of technological devices allows communication and broadcasting content instantly, this leads to opening of the learning spaces and hybridization, therefore, it is essential that audience develop the criti - cal competency. This allows you to interact and communicate autonomously. Therefore it is necessary to benefit the media potential and its introduction in the school. This is pursued curb consumerism derived from the "technological obso- lescence" and develop critical expression. Such development is based on the cultivation of critical competence explained in this article that relates to me- dia and audiovisual skills. In this case critical skill is proposed as a measure that promotes coexistence in the digital society. Its cultivation is proposed from the formal and informal education, and from the family. Finally, this research explain dimensions that make such competition and it show some strategies and tools that can be used to promote its development and scope.
