Resumo

The aim of this paper is to analyse the new provisions that regulate the causes of redundancy and the dismissal on the basis of companies technical, organizational or production causes. This new labour reform includes not only points of law previously set up by employment tribunals, but it also introduces new concepts to clear up the ambiguity which the previous provisions generated. There are also new developments, from the formal point of view, in order to expedite the processing of the application of employment regulation.
