Resumo

A check-list of 298 species of Coleoptera from Serra da Enciña da Lastra Natural Park (Galicia, northwest Iberian Peninsula) is reported. 16 species are recorded from Galicia the first time. Among them, we highlight the Carabidae Dixus capito capito Serville, 1821 and Acinopus picipes (Olivier, 1795), the Buprestidae Acmaeoderella cyanipennis (Lucas, 1846), Capnodis tenebrionis (Linné, 1761) and Anthaxia godeti Gory & Castelnau, 1839, as well as the Chrysomelidae Hypocassida subferruginea (Schrank, 1776). Due to the Mediterranean climate and vegetation, southern elements (19,7%) represent a slightly higher proportion than northern ones (18,1%). Iberian elements are quite abundant (20,4%), which is related with altitude, as we found many species considered typical of mountain areas, and with the high degree of conservation of this area
