Abstract

The earthquake in Fukushima (April 2011) has caused a major nuclear accident in Japan, risking the lives of thousands of people, in most developed countries has reopened the debate on whether this source. In this paper we presented the alternatives to this source of energy, stating that all have significant drawbacks and is not feasible a drastic change in nuclear policy in Spain.
