Abstract

The purpose of this review article is to gather the different applications of periodontics and orthodontics, which understood as a whole, offers an important variety of choices which correspond to the present concept of multidisciplinary dentistry. General aspects of this relationship and specific areas such as onhodontic treatment for periodontal patients and periodontal treatment for orthodontic patients are reviewed. In addition, the sequence of decisions and treatment planning will be exhibited.
