Resumo
In this paper the first phase of a broad-scope long-term project named �Portico de la Gloria Virtual� is presented. The main objective of this project is to create awareness concerning the symbolism, the characteristics and the need of preservation of such an extraordinary monumental ensemble as is the �Portico del la Gloria�, trough the utilization of the latest technologies in 3D visualization, virtual reality and augmented reality.
