Resumo

A research to know which the training and innovation initiatives are to make the adaptation to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) easier has been developed. Technical, functional and aesthetic characteristics and contents of Spanish universities websites informing about these issues have been analysed. The study has been developed around 53 universities that let us to access to the information of their sites. Both qualitative and quantitative methods have been applied to perceive which the visibility of the initiatives is and to evaluate the impact of the WWW as a dissemination tool of university policy. From the selected dimensions and categories, web communication and training potentialities on the basis of the current socio-cultural and economic moment are told and, particularly, its contribution to the dissemination of the Bologna process philosophy and to the internationalisation of Higher Education
