Resumo
This article focuses on the analysis of the classification and valoration of the psychic sequelae due to traumatic brain injury contemplated in the current system of valoration of damage caused by traffic accidents (traffic scale). It is suggested that a common terminology, like international classification of the mental disorders, regarding sequelae, should be used by all mental health professionals. The need to valuate the different psychological consecuence with regard to the level of dysfunction and specific damaged areas is emphasized.
