Abstract
We introduce a proposal for the managemente and treatement of material culture, taking the works carried out during the Frame Project for Archaeological Impact Assessment in the Galician Gas Pipeline as example. We intend to define the role of material culture studies regarding a Cultural Heritage management theoretical model, as well as the function of a material culture studies team inside a Landscape Archaeological Research Group.
