Resumo

This issue reports a research on training needs to the in-training teachers, which is nowadays considered a prior investigation field. That constation leans upon its role in the professional development of teachers. Besides, the conceptualisation of teachers as professionals must be added in order to analyze their practice and to discover the theoretical constructs that guide them. In that theoretical frame of reference an in-service-training can be justified if it can answer the teachers' training needs. The empirical approach has been done on a sample of primary education teachers in Galicia (Spain). It has been used a survey methodology with those common traits: a) A specific model of teacher, and b) The curricular requirernents of the suitable educationaJ level. A T the end, the analysis of sorne attained results is offered.
