Resumo
Endogenous mechanisms of land mobility are an alternative to formal sale and lease contracts in regions with high land fragmentation because of transaction cost. This paper proposes an electronic survey for the characterization of informal arrangements according to four blocks of information: type of farm, type of owner, type of agreement and relationship between supply and demand. The electronic survey allows access to all farms at low cost. Self-selection bias is its main limitation. It is proposed making survey through associations in the agricultural sector as nodes for disseminating and monitoring it. If the premise that mechanisms of land mobility are based on local networks, governance of new ruralities will necessarily require, not only a strategic and planned approach, but also participatory and inclusive.
