Resumo
The present of the collections of art of the former saving banks of Spain has, as basic axes, on the one hand, a set of entities, which have had a deep process of change in the last months, and, on the other hand, an updated legislation that scarcely has taken into account the social work previously made and that has carried a certain accumulation of cultural goods. The past of the above mentioned saving banks, in addition, has been developed, fundamentally, after having been born these in concrete cities and attending, some of them, at first, to regional places, something that it is necessary to bear in mind. The future, in any case, needs, regarding such cultural goods, a regulation that assumes those aspects that the current legal frame has not treated and, also, a management, correctly guided, which has to depart from the Autonomous Communities
