Resumo
Every day renewable energy sources play an increasing role in electricity production. This is explained in a context where social and environmental costs associated with conventional energy are very high and that the trend is the search for alternative sources. This communication aims to show the advantages and potential of an appeal, which certainly comes as an important alternative for energy production: forest biomass. When in our country also has much less presence of which would be expected.
