Abstract

The main objective of this thesis “Characterization of mixed self-assembled systems based on experimental and theoretical observations” is to evaluate the aggregation properties of colloidal systems formed by mixed bile acids (nagdc and nadc) in combination with surfactant (ddab and dtab). we will use experimental techniques such as spectroscopy and electrical conductivity. results obtained through different theoretical models will be analyzed trying to calcualte which fits better our system and get the best parameterization of it. parallelly we will apply mathematical models called quantitative structure-property relationships (qspr) to study the same systems and determine the relations that will allow us to predict the properties of similar systems.
