Diego Hurtado de Mendoza, García de Pedraza and mosén Moncayo are three poets of the first half of the 15th century who composed seven, fourteen and seven poems respectively, all of which are unique to the Cancionero de Palacio. This piece of work presents an analysis of the transmission process of their works and a critical edition and annotations of their texts. This research is completed with an approach to their biographies and their poetry, a study which has enabled to resolve the homonymy issues and to place them in two poetic circles: Diego Hurtado and Pedraza relate to the poetic circle of Santillana; mosén Moncayo is associated with courtly environments surrounding Kings Alfonso V of Aragón and Juan I of Navarra. Yet this research has shown the importance of the authors in the cancionero corpus: Diego Hurtado engages in rarely seen poetic categories of the 15th century poetry; Pedraza takes part in appealing courtly games with the members of the Mendoza family and develops unique patterns; Moncayo takes part in a serie poética written with some participants in the Battle of Ponza, and also composes an early imitation of the Querella de Amor of Santillana. In conclusion, they are three authors whose names deserve to be highlighted among the cancionero writers.
