Abstract

The reach for new discoveries in Particle Physics will be extended as never before with the new collider LHC. The present thesis aims to develop theoretical models of relevance in high temperature and high density QCD to be checked at the LHC, in particular in heavy ion collisions. Photon and gluon induced radiations off highly energetic particles traversing a QCD medium will be computed in the eikonal limit, generalizing the existing cases to more than one inclusive particles in the final state. One of the goals is to identify ordering variables to help the development of a "jet calculus" in the medium case.
