Resumen

Este estudio examina las estrategias de internacionalización de los emprendedores y pymes gallegas, centrándose en las tendencias de internacionalización temprana. El objetivo principal es desarrollar un marco normativo que permita a los emprendedores y a las pymes consolidadas acercarse a los comprados exteriores de forma eficaz. Utilizando un enfoque cualitativo, la investigación analiza los datos de las empresas gallegas para construir la matriz de Internacionalización del Emprendimiento Gallego (IEG). Los datos se recopilaron mediante encuestas y se complementaron con la base de datos de la Zona Franca de Vigo, que abarca a las empresas exportadoras fundadas entre 1999 y 2021. Se aplicaron análisis cualitativos y modelos matriciales para clasificar las empresas en distintas etapas de internacionalización, teniendo en cuenta factores como la amplitud del comprado, la intensidad de las exportaciones y la rapidez de entrada. Los resultados revelan que las empresas más nuevas tienden a internacionalizarse en un año desde su creación, influenciadas por los avances tecnológicos y las políticas públicas favorables. Surgieron cuatro perfiles de empresas. La Matriz IEG ofrece información valiosa para los responsables de políticas públicas y los managers de empresas con el objetivo de promover la internacionalización temprana.
