Abstract

From a reflection on the poetic that Stabat shapes within the trajectory of Víctor Sunyol (Vic, 1955), i.e. a poetics of ascesis and emptiness of the word, this study interprets the work Stabat as another staging of death that the poet has already dramatized in previous works. But Stabat’s staging of death affects now language itself, since it is the word which negates talking, which does not give death but rather gives herself death.
