Resumo

This task is focused on releasing the design of a Service- learning specific experience (S- l) to promote the development and professional performance of university students. This experience combines, in educational practice, the activities development and community services with the curriculum development of the subject: Socio-educational Action in Addictions, for the fourth year of the Degree in Social education at the University of Santiago de Compostela, in order to promote the student skill development in such subject, as well as satisfying the needs of the participant entity. Besides, through such experience, the aim is to motivate students towards the curriculum of such subject, promoting a positive attitude and a greater academic participation, both students and teachers and other community partners involved, and, definitely, to foster the development and professional performance of Social education future professionals.
