Resumo
In this study we have been probed different properties of the polymeric systems used in protected gloves. Two models of gloves using in this work are nitrile and neoprene gloves. Using a Scanning Electronic Microscope (SEM) and Confocal Bio-Rad Microscope have been observed the structural modifications that suffer the polymers during their exposure to artificial perspiration. The initial thermodegradation temperature has been calculated using a Thermogravimetric analyzer TG-50 for two gloves. In the last part of this study the permeability of the gloves has been tested using a UV-visible spectrometer.
